This newly renovated suite consists of a large bedroom with king size bed, ensuite with a soaker tub & shower, washer/dryer. Pamper yourself with the toiletries provided such as locally made foaming mineral bath salts, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, luxurious linens, towels, bathrobes and slippers.
Kitchenette with small fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, iron and board, fireplace (electric), desk, sitting area with sofa, table and chairs, remote controlled A/C, smart TV with cable (including sports channels), Netflix and Disney, high speed wifi, free on-street parking. Beautiful Accommodations! Great hosts!
This was our first time to St. John’s and I’m so glad we chose The Rock’s Signal Bed and Breakfast. Everything was perfect from the beautiful rooms to the wonderful breakfast cooked fresh every morning and the delicious baked goods we enjoyed in the afternoon!Always there to answer our questions and give direction on what we should see and do was a great help as we only had five days to explore the area.Thank you for everything we will be back!Dan and Heather Campbell
Amazing!!
Amazing!! We stayed two nights in the Superior king "The Puffin". The room was gorgeous and very well kept. Had a fabulous bathroom, laundry machine, fridge, and coffee makers. Had our own a/c and electric fireplace. Bed was comfortable and clean.Lisa was an amazing host, always friendly and had great recommendations about the area. Breakfast was phenomenal, with yogurt and fruit as well as a hot course. Had tea and coffee accessible 24/7. Also the afternoon tea was delicious.The Rock Signal as perfected the B&B!!

Absolutely beautiful place and a great location too . It was wonderful meeting Lisa. She had great ideas and suggestions as to what to see and where to go while visiting St. John’s . We loved her breakfasts and thoroughly enjoyed the homemade afternoon desert Lisa keeps her place spotless and we would highly recommend staying at Rock’s Signal . Thanks again, Lisa !

An excellent location near St. John's downtown and walking distance from restaurants, pubs, and shopping. The breakfasts and afternoon tea treats are so great you'll have trouble having room for restaurant meals! We booked for 11 nights, and the host, Lisa, goes above and beyond to make your stay fantastic!The Rock's Signal BnB is a fantastic value. Would definitely book again when in St. John's.

This is one if not the best BnB we ever stayed in! Lisa’s attention to detail is second to none. From the scrumptious breakfasts to afternoon tea treats to the spacious suite with king size bed. We enjoyed the soaker tub and bath robes not to mention the in suite laundry. I could go on and on. The location is amazing to the water front with so many restaurants and bars with live music. Anyone starting a B&B would do well to study Lisa’s eye for perfection. Well done Lisa!!
Excellent!
This was a fabulous BnB in downtown St. John's. The hostess, Lisa is absolutely wonderful and it's clear she puts a lot of care and detail into both the bed and breakfast itself, and into caring for her guests. My husband and I stayed here for the first few nights of a two-week long trip, and it was without a doubt our favourite place we stayed. The breakfasts were healthy, hearty and delicious (honestly the best breakfasts we've ever had), and the homemade tea time treats were tasty as well. Our room was quiet, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Lisa also had great suggestions of things to do in the area, as well as helpful tips for our trip across the entire island. The Rock’s Signal is like a home away from home, and while it's just a few minutes' walk from the shops and pubs on George Street and Water Street, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay in downtown St. John's.

Home away from home
The Rock’s Signal is ideally located for exploring and participating in popular St John’s attractions and activities. More than that, this classic “Jelly Bean” house was truly a home away from home. The Puffin room was extraordinary and provided everything we could need during our stay. Breakfast and afternoon tea treats were excellent - gourmet quality to be honest. After enjoying Lisa’s breakfast you don’t need to eat again until evening dinner. And Lisa…hostess extraordinaire…warm, friendly, willing to go the extra mile to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. We would highly recommend the Rock’s Signal for your St. John’s stay.

The Perfect Place to Stay!!!
This is the perfect place to stay while visiting St. John’s. The location is excellent, close to George Street, Water Street, Signal Hill, and Bannerman Brewery. The space is very clean and comforting. You have everything you would need when staying away from home. The food is phenomenal! I hope to stay here again and would highly recommend this quaint B&B.
